Named for the light. Villa Selene faces south, and every room benefits from it — the garden, the pool, the terrace where lunch inevitably stretches until four in the afternoon.
The most expansive garden in the collection. Pétanque, a ping-pong table beneath the pines, bicycles for the morning coast ride, and a pool that earns every hour it is open.
A sharp contemporary build — white render, full-height black-frame glazing, a sculptural teak coffee table in the living room. The tropical garden and heated pool sit just beyond the sliding doors.
Natural stone cladding, a first-floor glass balustrade, a manicured lawn running down to the heated pool. The interiors are warm — oak wardrobes, boucle headboards, marble showers with backlit mirrors.
The old port at dawn, when the fishing boats return and the market stalls are being laid. The Sentier du Littoral threading between red cliffs and translucent water. Bouillabaisse at a table that has been here longer than any of us.
